Weighted Average Calculator
Combine three scores or components when they do not all count equally.
Calculate a weighted result
Enter scores as percentages and their relative weights. The weights can be points, percentages, or another common unit.
Do not average unequal components
A simple average treats every number as equally important. A weighted average first gives each result the importance assigned to it, then divides by the total weight. This is common in school grades, project scoring, and ordinary planning.
Use the real rules
The calculation is only as good as the weights you enter. A school, employer, or programme may use rounding, minimum thresholds, excluded components, or other rules that this general arithmetic tool cannot know.
